Member of Sisters of St. Joseph Takes Final Vows
CROOKSTON (MN) On September 23, 2000, Sister Juli Caron will make her final vows. The ceremony will take place at 4pm at the Sisters of St. Joseph Chapel, Marywood Residence, Highway 2 East, in Crookston. Celebrating the Eucharistic Liturgy and representing Bishop Victor Balke, Father Michael Foltz of Crookston will receive the vows; also officiating during the ceremony will be Sister Lucy Silvio CSJ, President.
Sister Juli M. Caron was born in Marshall, Minnesota and is the daughter of the late Emil and Lucille Caron. She is one of seven children. Juli attended Catholic school in Marshall where she was taught by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. She attended St. Francis School of Nursing in Crookston. Juli was a Sister of St. Benedict until 1982, when she moved to Fargo to attend the St. Luke's School of Nursing, graduating as a registered nurse. In 1995, Juli entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Medaille. She now ministers as a Chaplain in Oncology Services at MeritCare in Fargo, North Dakota, where she helps people living with cancer create a better quality of life for themselves. Juli is also very active in her Parish as a member of the Life Teen Band.
The Sisters of St. Joseph of Medaille in Crookston are active in many ministries, including home health care, education, and pastoral care.
