Invitations Sent for "Ragin' Cajun - A Taste of New Orleans."
CINCINNATI, OH - On Friday, June 16th, you're invited to leave your Midwest roots behind and become a "Ragin' Cajun." This fund raising event, which features a "Taste of New Orleans," benefits the Sisters of St. Joseph of Medaille Congregation. Presented by Franklin Savings & Loan Co. and T.P. White and Sons Funeral Home, it takes place at the Athenaeum of Ohio on Beechmont Avenue in Cincinnati. The host of the evening will be the irrepressible Galvin Brothers.
The evening includes an open bar featuring Hurricanes, beer, wine and soda. Cajun appetizers and dinner will also be served, courtesy of a variety of area restaurants, including The Cajun Kitchen and Regina's of Lexington, KY. There will be dancing and live entertainment provided by Robin Lacy and Dezydeco. Special guest Sister Helen Prejean, author of Dead Man Walking, will be in attendance to draw the winning raffle ticket; a trip for two to New Orleans. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the door.
The Sisters' Patron Party will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., and costs $75 per person. The Evening Party is from 7:30 to 11:30 and costs $35 per person.
