You Can Help

If our message has caught your imagination, you may be inspired by the idea of making a difference. Even, a very personal difference. You've heard it said many times before, but often it doesn't take a lot to make a meaningful impact. It's true. We see it all the time.

It may be a financial gift. Be confident that it will be used well. From the very practical concerns that face us every day (such as the very pressing physical needs for our ministries in rural or urban areas) to organizational essentials (sustenance, education, retirement and development) the needs are significant. However, our love is deep and the trust we place in our supporters, and God, is deep too.

It may be a gift of time. You may live in one of the cities where we work so hard on behalf of the disenfranchised or underprivileged. Can you give a day a month? Dedicate an hour a week? Make a phone call? There is much to do. You won't expect the change in your life that will happen when you devote some time to a good cause.

It may be a gift of self. If you want to pursue religious life, you are in good company. Our Vocational Director, Sister Ily Fernandez, is here for you with a kind ear and a willing smile. Talk to her. No pressure... just guidance.

It may be a gift of prayer. Send a thought our way. Or provide a kind word to one of our sisters, next time you see her in action. Or just take a moment to think about what we do in a different way; a way that sheds old misperceptions and invites deeper understanding.
